Help with Chicken Breed - 15 Weeks

Hello, I have 2 hens that I'm unsure what breed they are. One was supposed to be a Speckled Sussex and the other a Rhode Island Red. I'm thinking the one RIR is probably correct, but I know for sure the SS isn't right. It was the first year they did that breed, so wondering if it's maybe a Brown/Red Sussex instead? It looks very close to my RIR, but it has an almost black beak, more black in the legs, and way darker feathers. I will apologize in advance for these pictures as I was taking them myself and the darker hen in question is really shy and doesn't want to be near me at all. So if I need to take some better pictures, please let me know and I can try tomorrow in the daylight.

Questionable Red/Darker Breed

Looks like a RIR and White Leghorn.

There is a red variety of Sussex, but they are very, very rare, so I doubt it is that. My guess is that it's a speckled Sussex crossed with something else like a RIR.
