Hi everyone, I just signed up because I’m really worried about this little guy and would really like some input.

okay so I have a pheasant egg that pipped about 28-30 hours ago, and it has made little progress and I have helped a little bit by moving away some shell, I’m pretty sure there is something wrong, because it moves a lot and doesn’t really get anywhere and only chirps when it seems to be struggling.
should I leave it alone and see what happens, or just help it all the way out?

He hatched!
I had to do everything for him, but he is already really strong.
I think he pipped before he was ready, because for a while every time I took a piece of it would start bleeding.
All is well now and he is happily resting in his brooder.
