I would guess male EE. Pure ameraucanas don't come in that color so it's an easter egger of some variety. My homegrown EE have much tighter and less pink combs at 8 weeks.
Silver is pretty uncommon where I'm from. I see whites, wheaten, and I personally breed BBS. From looking at other silvers online, I would guess male; although I would like to see more photos of this bird at different stages.
Here is a comparison of sexes of this variety (assuming it is indeed one). Females are silver duckwing and would have a salmon breast. It is most definitely a cockerel regardless of variety. His coloring is male-specific
I hatched three of what I was told were silver ameraucana. The 2 other ones are all black a little smaller. But don’t know if they are all silver ameraucana cause they were different Color’s when hatched
