Help!!

So i have a broody hen sitting on eggs that were suppose to hatch yesteday.. well today i see her pecking and taking away part of the shell of one. And in that shell there is a chick with black hair.. what should i do? im in shock i dont know whether to help or not

Well, no expert here, but my bantams sure were. They hatched out many a chick and i have seen them 'assisting" their chicks when they hatch out.
