Hello all,
One of my chickens (Sophie) was found dead in the run without any feathers. Around Christmas we adopted 2 chickens from a friend to give our single chicken, Sophie, companionship. All of her feathers were in the coop, and she was found dead in the snow in the run.
Is it possible that the newer chickens attacked her? How would she have gotten out of the coop if they attacked her, and plucked her, inside the coop.
I am devastated, and reluctant to get more chickens this spring as planned. Please help!
Nicole
