Hen going to have chicks, what do I do?

My hen is going to have chicks.... Any other info and tips will help, thanks!!!
Boil lots and lots of water and tear up all your towels and linens to make diapers and baby chick clothes.

No really, hens have been hatching chicks longer than humans have been around to get in the hens' way or to make a nuisance out of ourselves. All you need to do is provide a safe and comfortable place, out of the weather and away from floods or vermin and the hen should be able to do the rest.

The only chicken that is likely to harm a baby chick is another hen with chicks of her own that happen to be younger and smaller than the chicks of the hen that we're discussing.

Too much human intervention however can send a hen into hyper-drive and she may well kill every chick she hatched in a misdirected attempt to protect them from you.

Good luck.

Thanks!

I knew of a neighbor who told me about when he had found his chicks dead cause the rooster killed them...
where's that rooster now? My neighbor pulled a wooden log and a machete and that rooster became cauldo de pollo.
But, anyways thanks for the info!!!
