I don’t have a photo unfortunately but I believe my hen has canker. She has a yellowish cheesy looking plaque all over the inside of her mouth. I happen to have Seachem Metroplex for my fish. Can I use that? From what I read a lot of people use API General cure. If I can give it to her how much should I give? Also, I have been crop feeding her because she isn’t eating enough. Can I just mix it in with the formula when I feed her? It’s in a powdered form. Thanks!

MetroPlex might work since it contains Metronidazole. I dont know the dosage for the product though. Metronidazole or Acidified Copper Sulfate are the standard treatments for poultry canker.
Keep in mind that canker is contagious to other birds via waterers and feeders. Birds with canker are carriers for life and will need monthly treatments to keep it in check.
