im a new member so a little clumsy on the site. I have a pair of pilgrim geese which are now 2 year olds. Enjoy them so much. They were raised from babies. The gander has imprinted on me as mom, the goose not so much. They chase my two horses which are scared to death of them. The goose is now starting to lay again. Last year she laid 53 eggs. I always feel guilty taking her eggs....I wonder if she misses them? Does anyone else feel that way? See ya on the chats.

Chickens can count, don't know about Geese.

I raised button quail for awhile. They are true to their name. Had them in an aviary for awhile. When they hatched they were outside of the cage running all over the place.

sunflour, do you think she misses the eggs. I wonder if she even knows what could be inside them as I have never let her sit and brood.
