Hello my names fish.
I’ve had chickens for several years now. I got my first chickens in 2020 I think.
I have 12 chickens at the moment. I have 5 silkies, 6 lohmann browns and 1 Xhosa hen. They I spilt between two chicken tractors with 6 in each. My lohmann browns can be quite aggressive so I don’t add new chickens to that flock. I also have a paint silkie hen called lady who is sitting on some eggs. I didn’t think they would actually survive so unfortunately I’ve lost count of which day they are on but by the looks of it I would say around day 15.
I really like watching the thinsg they get up too.
My other hobby’s are horse riding and crocheting. On our farm we have quite alot of animals which include horse,dogs cats and chickens.
I found BYC several years ago when researching things about my flock and had actually joined before.
The names of my lohmanns are:
Nina
Pumpkin
Catnip
Horace
Natasha and hermine
The silkies are:
Blue (my only rooster)
Nesuko (child of blue and Charlie. Charlie unfortunately passed last year)
Polly
Lady and Meredith (the xhosa hen)
I think the eggs lady are sitting on is one silkie egg and one xhosa hen egg.
