Hey neighbor, I'm from the Branford area. Not sure what type of homebuilt you are interested in. I build cabinet incubator/ hatchers. What I call traditional wood cabinets. I'm guessing you are looking for design ideas. Try searching the forum, lots of ideas from older post. He are some pics of a 2 drawer flip top design I built some time ago, constructed in oak but reminiscent of old redwood cabinets.

I am going to build one and just wanted to see what others have done and how it worked out for them
