How come my ducks are not laying?

I have five ducks currently. I think I have at least three females. They are about 12 weeks old but nothing yet. The chickens we got at the same time are laying now. They seem very healthy. They are on egg layer crumbles.

I do believe that 12 weeks is too young for ducks to be laying.

i do too mine didnt start laying till 19 weeks

What kind are they? Most don't lay until 20+weeks...calls won't lay until spring

. Chickens don't lay until about 20 weeks either. My pullets born the first week of April haven't started yet, but they are close.
P.s. Do the drakes have their curly tushy feathers yet?

12 weeks is WAY early for a duck to be laying. They take longer to reach maturity than chickens but they produce longer.

20+ weeks for constant layers. Spring time for seasonal layers. Patience grasshopper

Mine are 16 weeks and have not started laying, and I have never had a chicken start laying before 19-20 weeks.
