How do I get the leg bands off?

I looked on Metzer's site, because I thought I saw instructions once upon a time, but now I can't find it!

I had my beloved hold them with their tiny legs dangling between his fingers and used a nail clipper (got this from duck_feeder)

Wow, was I a nervous wreck! Got it done, no problem. Better do it sooner than later - hurts them when they outgrow the bands, as you probably have heard.

Get a partner with nerves of steel, and don't forget to wear your reading glasses if you need them!! And have good light!!

I picked them up and used wire cutters. I think I needed 2 cuts for each.
They listened well when I told them not to wiggle their leg while I was snipping.
