How do you keep pedators away from ducks?

I keep ducklings inside electronet fencing until they are about 4 months old. (And shut them up in the barn at night.) Then I remove the netting and let them loose, while still shutting them up every night.

I have a pretty draconian approach to predators. Dog-proof traps (which are meant for coon but I've caught possum in) and a rifle. Its not perfect but it largely works. I would actually post your question here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/13/predators-and-pests
