How many eggs did you get today? I got 10!

8 eggs out of 10 hens. I collect and inspect the coop all in one so the eggs get put in my jacket pocket as I'm going around. Get home to unload and counted 7. A few hours later put my coat back on to walk the dog and realized there was another egg in my pocket! Seems like I've got a jacket pocket that leads to Narnia cause I was pretty certain I emptied them out hah lucky I didn't reach in and find a broken egg

Finally got 13 eggs today out of 13 pullets hatched about second week +/- of April. Previously for a couple of weeks it was 9-10---with 12 last couple of days and today went 100%. I'm happy.

Wow I was cleaning up the yard and found over 80 eggs but most were popping when moved so they all went to the dump pile, I guess the girls were just hiding them all all over in nest of about 20 each

So the girls are molting and only producing enough to just get by.. We are having a party and decided to cheat and buy 'organic' brown eggs to use half for the macaroni salad. This just reconfirmed that we can't live without chickens. The small size and pale color of the yoke is pathetic! Go girls!
