I don't have a picture of the hens I got yesterday but this is my Turken that hasn't laid at all in the 8 days I've had her.

aww

hmm could she be eating the eggs? or maybe she is egg bound? maybe how long ago did you get her because she might be nervous about coming to a new home or something because we got white leghorns already laying and they didn't start laying for 2 weeks

Wow, I never saw 3 yolk eggs in my life.
I can only wonder at what it would be like to have a fertile 3 yolk egg hatch to 3 chicks.
But based on goat experiences, it might not have worked out right.
Won't go into details on the goat part, might get some upset.

I was offline a short bit, and while getting this computer set, did not post for days.
i had been getting 3 eggs most days, 2 on slack days.
yesterday was a 3 egg day. so 3 for 3.
One has evidently gotten impatient at times,a nd not figured out she could use the second nest box. Why my black pullet does at times. Found her atop Red one day, in the one they use all the time, and she had already laid her egg. Could tell, cuz she lays loner white eggs, while the other two lay light brown.
Went and got the camera, but by then both were back out in their yard.
Figures, all my critters cease performing when I go get the camera.

well if you only had her 8 days she may not lay to maybe another week.it took a week and a half for my pullet whyendotte to lay =]
