I think my birds stayed up too late last night drinking and playing Texas hold'em.
I only got 5/9.

I am at 10 of 16 for a final one of my Brahmas has taken to squatting for me now, I still have at least 5 not old enough yet we have been making changes in box height lower some as the Brahms lay them on the floor all the time two out in the chicken yard

1 for 3 today. Wind chill was so low I kept them in the coop all day. The RIRs did not like that.

Do you have a heated dish? I got one at Tractor Supply and haven't had frozen water yet. I don't heat my coop either.

I have a heated dog bowl, but the only outlet I have is in the coop, so I take the water out every night ( so I'm not adding extra humidity in the coop & adding to the likelihood of frostbite) and then refill it every morning. That only works for 1 coop, the other 3 coops don't have electricity, so I carry out water in the AM & again in the PM. Wish I had a different system because I am not sure if they are getting enough water before it freezes.
