I had to pull my sign from the side of the road for the second time in 3 days(I pull the sign when I'm out of eggs) I only have 7 hens and get 5-6 eggs per day(one of my black Australorps is a deadbeat and if she does'nt start laying by late spring she will be in the soup, literally. They are all 7-8 months old. My little ISA Browns are egg laying machines and rarly miss a single day laying large to jumbo eggs.
Just a dozen today for $3. I would have had two dozen but Julie our daughter blew through last night and nabbed a dozen before taking them and our granddaughters back home for a visit. I'm kidding here but they do spend and want to spend a lot of their time here with us. They're nine and four and both are country gals at heart.
