How many eggs should I eggspect

I just love this forum and the help I get here.
I have 16 hens of various breeds and ages, the 5 oldest are coming up on 3 years, the youngest are 7 months. I average 5-6 eggs per day and am thinking I should be getting a few more than that. Is there something I can do to encourage better production. They free range during the day and are penned up at night. We have 2 roosters who don't lay at all

Yeah, you probably should be getting a few more eggs than that...sorry i don't know any methods to get chickens to lay though...wish i did!!
