That chick looks like a roo to me! It doesn't look like a buff. Looks like a rhode island red or Dixie rainbow. I have a Dixie rainbow that looked just like yours when she was little.

I am just getting buff Orpingtons! I am really excited they are very pretty!

I have 2 that are 5 weeks old today. They are with a flock of 4 golden buffs, 2 BA, 2 BR and 2 delawares. Out of my 5 week old babies I thought they were going to be the shyest , But they are starting to come around the delawares I am having a hard time with trying to tame them. They are very skiddish. One of my golden buffs (the smallest one) jumped up on my lap today, she has been climbing on hand and letting me pick her up but today she decided she wasn't going to wait for me to pick her up! I loved it! Then one of my BO the biggest one let me pick her up today. I call her Mitzy and the golden buff is Penny.
