I'm from Malaysia. At the beginning we sell big birds range from 200-250gram each but since the market is already familiar with smaller bird we have a hard time to sell ours. Most of big buyer like restaurant and traders prefer smaller birds.

It's always good to have a different point of view from other countries.
It's funny, how some cultures prefer a smaller, younger bird. Here, We like a tender, flavorful bird. So we work very hard to genetically produce birds that will grow very fast so they can be processed at and early age, saving money on feed.. and still be tasty and tender and have enough meat on them to justify the trouble..
