Last week my hen got some white blisters I thought it was just the heat as it was very hot but when they turned black I realised it was fowl pox. If there is any powder or something to help the chickens or remedies pls tell me
:/ Here r my infected chickens

You might want to read this article and see if you can glean some information from it....

I have never dealt with Avian Pox before, so I really can't give you much info. But still, you might want to post this pic in our emergency section. Those folks really know their stuff over there and can help you a lot....

Good luck and I hope you can get your precious flock back to good health soon. :)

And yes, if you have an AVIAN vet nearby, it never hurts to take them in. Regular vets are not schooled in avian medicine unless they stay the extra year after graduating. So most vets know nothing about avian medicine since they don't bother with this last year of schooling in bird medicine.

Oh I'm not sure these vets r trained but I think I'll bring her in anyway and apparently some stuff called betadine helped could you possibly give any other suggestions on things that could help?:(:/
