I have a Duckling that is showing signs of stargazing. I have been giving them all nutridrench and vitamin/probiotic and niacin suppliments since birth.
Ive added another half dose of vitamins, and basil and cayanne powder to the food for extra vitamin E and selenium.
I'm not seeing progress and it seems a little worse.
The Duckling at this point just has a tilted head to the right, but can eat and drink and balance perfectly.
I would love extra advice! Should I try making a brace? Should I do anything different?
One important thing to note, she is a crested duck with 3 bundled topnots making one large one that is larger on the right side of the head. Could the weight of the crest be causing a problem? Could this be neurological? If so, how should I handle it.
Thanks!
The photos are of her (Name is Puffin and is definitely a girl *QUACK QUACK!* lol)
You can see the tilt but really is hard to notice. But I can see there is something off...
