How to treat quail leg that went red and swollen?

Could be. I tried not to overfeed though but she seems happy enough to eat all. Just poor her she can't walk out and about. Now she's confine in a little chocolate celebration box.

As far as I know, garlic does not harm Chicken and Quail.
Maybe other birds, ... but I have quail treats from professionel sources which contain garlic.

Edit: it is dried garlic

How is her leg doing?

mine developed an infection in her hock as well. I’ve been soaking her in Epsom salts & applying Vetericyn.
it’s probably a staph infection
