Humidifier inside or outside incubator?

I had to keep about 10 drops of water in the last incubator I used and if I went over the humidity went over. If I left the water evaporated and the humidity dropped.

I use a fish tank air bubbler connected to a cheap humidistat in my fridge converted incubator. Can dial it in within a few %’s

I ended up going with a Vick's humidifier in the incubator and it seems to be working perfect! I don't have to open the door other than to candle them and for lock down.
