Humidity in Lockdown. NEED HELP NOW

Alright cheers so I will stick with my Brinsea Mini 2 advance and just bump the humidity up when the egg pips.

Two questions
1 How do I check when it has pipped?
2 how long before I turn humidity down after he has hatched or is it until he has fluffed up and can go under the brooder?
You can candle the egg every 8 hours to look for the internal pip
Once baby has hatched you can remove some water
The humidity will keep him wet longer anyway

A pip is the first hole the chick makes in the shell, I would look for the external pip before I bumped up humidity. Once the chick is out drop humidity. Less humidity will help it dry faster.
