Hybrid Ducks...I am sill unclear,

These are the 6 drakes an 5 females after 4 months.

So when you bred a male Runner (above ) with a female KC can the offspring be different breeds? .....like he ls from Metzer farms??

I am guessing that once we see the egg laying we will have more of an idea...but then what happens when this group has offspring>>

btw they are all doing the head bobbing and some brief humping,,,we are adding a light because it is Fall here

Looks to me like there was 2 mixed Runners with possibly KC and a Runner drake looking at body carriage and looks, two awesome breeds mixed to create great egg layers. All off spring will be a mix of those two breeds.

This is our current problem- There are no Runners here. I can buy a mating pair for

A hybrid is 2 different breeds crossed together. So say that a dad was a pekin duck and mom was a buff then the ducklings would be pekinXbuff duck mixes.
