I'm so sorry that you lost Louise. I remember when I had a flock of Guinea Hens outside in broad daylight when a hawk came within five inches of my HEAD to try to take one of my birds. It scared the heck out of me because I couldn't believe that it could be so brazen. Then I remembered that needed food too but I was thinking, "Why one of my birds?"
My condolences and I'm hoping that the future days will be sunnier for you.
