quick question, I thought brahmas had pea combs, is that correct? If so is that something that can be different among hatchery chickens? I know some are not bred necessarily to standard (nothing wrong with that).

Since hatchery chicks aren't exactly "show quality" some chickens may result with incorrect combs. I find that a lot of hatchery Wyandottes get single combs too.

yes, I only suggested d'uccle because I thought she had muffs (fuzzy/fat cheeks). But, I can't really tell if she has them for sure. Google the two breeds and see what you think

Yes they can come standard sized or as bantams
