I've had my hens (from auction) for the last 2 months- when they first came they laid some, then nothing... for weeks... and today... AN EGG!!

I got a second one today.

How reliable is the comb in telling which hen is laying? I THINK I know who is since there is only one with a big red comb on her, but I want to be certain.
