I thought that at first too, but I think a sex-link chick is from a Barred Rock Hen and RIR Rooster....I could be wrong though!

Nope, for sex links the hen has to be barred. A barred rooster will pass on barring to all his offspring, which is weird cause I'm just not seeing it on this boy. I see light chick fuzz, but no barring.

There's no name for a barred roo over a rir hen, it's just a mixed breed.

All Right, here's some updated 7-8 Week pics. I'm thinking I agree with Donrae, I'm not seeing any barring. Maybe the father is not a barred rock after all....
