Hello friends,
I have a chicken which seems to be paralyzed, can't stand on her feet, but she can still move her legs while sitting on her butt.

Do any of you have any idea what type of problem she may have and what the solution is ?
She looks very healthy and alert, she eats and drinks well, but she just can't stand on her feet. She is atleast 4 years old. I adopted her over 2 years ago.
To move, she tries to use her wings to fly, which she can move a few feet this way.
Her joints feel normal and soft, but she can't stand. She didn't fall and didn't have any accident or injury either.
She was not laying egg, so I can't say she may be egg bound either.
My best guess is that she has some sort of neurological disease that has just impacted her hip muscles. If any of you have had the same experience with his or her hen, please let me know if and how I can help her to be able to stand and walk again.
