I started my pheasant pen

This pen is 8 x 12. Seven foot tall. I have a male and 2 female ringnecks going in the pen. Im hoping the breed and i have little pheasants to release onto my property.

We may get a foot of snow where i live. But most of the time we get a few inches. I think i over did the frame by a few 2 x4 s. But it will be strong. The roof is leftover metal from my shed.

I need to get started on a pheasant pen as mine will be hatching on the7th of April. At one time I bred, raised and trained German Shepherd dogs. They were housed in 10 x 60 foot runs which are now empty. Would it be feasable to convert one of these dog runs to a pheasant pen? I could cover the chain-link with chicken wire then put netting over the top of the run. I could even cover an end with a tarp to create a shelter of sorts.
