Those are a project variety. Not many around. Perhaps Gerald Church in Nebraska has some. I only raise Bantam

Don't forget Iowans, we got the Clay County Fair coming up September 6th to the 12th. Then the Mason City double poultry show the 20th and 21st of Sept.

I don't see an open poultry show for the Clay county fair on 4H and FFA

Is anyone here a part of a group of co-oper's to buy bulk feed and grains together. i saw that people in other states have groups that buy in bulk together and get lower prices and better quality. Also anybody know of any live stock sales/ auctions/ shows, just wondering cant seem to find any on-line.

I think I accidentally got a rooster Buff Orpington in my last batch of chicks. Since I live in town I need to find another home for him. Any takers? I believe he is around 18 weeks old. I live in the Cedar Rapids area.

My first thought was no, I think it's a hen, but I was fooled by my Buff orps. They took a while to get pointed saddle feathers and sickles.

I have 5 young Euskal Oiloa Basque roos I would like to rehome. They are 12 - 16 wks old. Awesome breed, very friendly and curious, not to mention beautiful. Here are pics of the parent stock. PM if you are interested, I am located near Mason City. I can take more pics of the youngsters if needed.
