Try $ 8-to $12,000 an acre.... and this is not near Big City Development land. Actual middle of no where Farm land.

Unbelievable and unsustainable.

The land/house we are looking at for 10 acres with a house/garage and one 3 sided building is $160,000. Not bad except the house needs at least $30,000 in remodels.

Yeah I'd say 5 grand an acre sounds about right.

When I first moved here 15 years ago, I remember there were pieces locally that went for $500 an acre.

My mom and dad paid $18,500 for their 25 acres. They put a modest house and one morten building on it - now appraised at $250,000

They built the house 22 years ago.
