In Search of 3 Young Emu Chicks

Hi. I've tried hatching 6 emu "hatching" eggs with no luck because all but one were infertile. I don't want to go through the work and heartache anymore. I would like to purchase 3 chicks. I have two acres that I built a 5' fence around, so they will have plenty of room. I also have a little experience with them as I volunteered in the bird rearing department of a local zoo for 4 years. If anyone knows where I can purchase chicks, please let me know. I am willing drive within 400 miles of SE Louisiana or otherwise will need to have them shipped. Thank you!

Have one 10 day-old chick we hatched. In northern Virginia.

$120 and I could drive a little -- maybe you know someone traveling up this way - and at this size and age, could be transported by airline.

I will have 2 or 3 to sell once DNA sexing results come back. Located in KY, so kind of a far drive for you. Will not air ship though.

I'm curious -- where does one obtain DNA analysis ?

I did mine at avianbiotech.com. It was 25 dollars each bird and all you had to do was send in three chest feathers.
