in the basement

We are new at this. We have a buff laced polish that developed wry neck..and my husband has been nursing it back to health. It is in the basement and has been for about a month and a half. He wants to bring the two others in to keep her company....but am leary about three chickens in the basement (in a large box with no top) for health reasons. We cannot put her out in the coop...because the weather is so nasty (Ontario). Any suggestions? spring won't be for another couple of months!

the coop is heated..but only to try and keep it above freezing. we also have silkies
