Incubating a white egg

So my coturnix quail laid a white egg and I decided to incubate it. It's fertile and I get to see the details like I haven't been able to with the dark colored shells before. Pretty cool. This is what you see on day 5. I'm really excited and while I don't usually candle them until day 8, because I never see anything, anyway, I think i will this one just to take pictures.

Unfortunately my incubator malfunctioned and killed my eggs. This morning I found the temperature at 109 degrees. I'm heartbroken. Getting a new incubator.
