Ok question! I have a bunch of different eggs going in tomorrow to the hatcher and there are 3 clutches and I need to separate them.. How do you all separate your hatchets such that they aren't compromising the hatcher but the eggs hatch and the chicks stay in various places until they're removed..

You can make baskets out of hardware cloth as well.

Almost a year I think. But he's been messing with the ladies now for a few weeks. You know he may still be just gay. All I've seen him do is chase the hen down and grab her neck. Then he pecks her and looks at her. Maybe he's just jealous over the other roo? He still makes a good mom though.
He's probably just trying to make it not so weird. You see him with the ladies and figure he's reformed but it's all just a cover story.

Quote: I bought 3 of them, intending to use them as nest boxes. Not only will they not fit where I wanted to use them, but with only 4" sides they won't contain chicks for very long. Plenty enough ventilation, though; designed like 1"x2" welded wire. May have a different style where you are.

The snow fell hard on a frozen sea
As the night swarmed all around
With no moon to guide our passage north
This corpse of mine may never be found
Thirty days, into this dead mans quest
In search of riches in a time-lost treasure chest
Through oceans never seen, through fog as thick as night
To the northern wastelands, onwards we must fight

Good morning @kate2008

Hello,:)
Thank you for your wonderful hello this morning, it's so nice to get a message from friends. :)
Are you incubating any eggs right now?
We have mottled ameruacana eggs, chocolate Orpingtons, chocolate cuckoo Orpingtons and Ancona ducks in our incubators.
