So, this is my very first hatch, and I had 2 eggs that were left that rocking and cheeping. Egg number 1 hatched and I have a cute little peeper. However, egg number 2 hasn't had any activity in several hours. I hope it still hatches, and I have a "backup" plan in the garage. (I bought additional chicks so I wouldn't have a lonely orphan in case that's the way things went). The thing is this lonely chick just laid down and curled up next to the unhatched egg and just about broke my heart. It was so sweet.
