DH talked to our son last night, who completely ignored the instructions to NOT TOUCH THE INCUBATOR and was following the instructions on the GQF hatching guide to maintain humidity between 45 and 55%. So he's been opening it daily and adding water, when the air cells were already nonexistent. I dread my first candling on day 14.

I just found one of my roosters dead

His head was in the corner. Any ideas

Was his head between the posts, like something had pulled it through from outside?

Nope. There was wood on the outside so nothing could pull them through. He wasn't jammed in there either. I think he just died and fell in the corner.
