Incubator help. Sportsman 1502. Humidity issue.

Hi. I have chicks hatching now. There seems to be a problem. I've put both pads in the water tank, plus another pad, and I'm still only getting the humidity at 67%. The fan is blowing and the chicks are starting to zip, but then the feathers are getting stuck to the membrane. Any suggestions of what to do to keep the babies damp enough to finish zipping?

problem with a sportsman? I'd like to have a problem like that. 67 is fine for hatch. The best way to increase humidity is wet rags or paper towels.

I've also got a Sportsman and I have excellent hatches running in the low 60's at hatch. You might be in the desert where it's dry but always spot check your sportsman with another unit to test humidity.
