One of my Silkies had what it looked like to be a wart on her cheek. I didn’t keep tabs on it thinking it would go away on its own. But lately it’s gotten worse and it hasn’t seemed to have gotten better. I will not take her to the vet, but every day I’ve been cleaning it with soap and water, alcohol and peroxide, and finishing it with Hen Healer multi purpose ointment. But it still looks infected and her eye keeps creating this pus-like secretion. Anyone have any clue how to help her?

Can you try to open the sore and see if there is any pus inside? Is there drainage or pus coming out of the eye? This is near her sinus cavity where they can get respiratory diseases. Tumors can also be common. Let us know what you find.
I’ll get something to open it up tomorrow! Why would he the best thing to clean the wound before cutting it open? There is drainage coming from the eye that makes the area crusty.
