Hi, my name is Neal from Perth Western Australia and my youngest Bernevelder has a limp wing (last 2 days - see photo above). I have tried bracing with a stocking but she wriggles out of it.
I suspect she caught it in a strand of wire that I put in the coop to stop them laying on top of the nesting boxes (wire removed now). The wing moves fine and there is no obvious sign of a break (minor feather damage but no skin damage). It is just the end of the wing with the Primary feathers that hangs down (ligament/ tendon damage?).
Can someone please give me some information about how to treat so that I can get her wing to heal back in the correct position?
Thanks
