Input Welcome: What Breed Should I Get?

I did not care for our Polish, although they are fun to look at they always seemed weak, nit very spirited. But, we loved the couple of black sexed linked hens we had. Hope that helps!

I am leaning towards no WCBP because we would like the option of free ranging, and I have read that they would not be able to see potential hawk attacks from above. That would make me so nervous! Any pics of your BSL?

Well I am thinking we'll likely get either a GSL or a BSL.... I just can't decide between the two... maybe I should just get one of each? Haha.

The only one of those I have had is a Rhode Island Red, and I was not such a fan.  She was not very nice, and a bully to the other chickens and people.  I say one of each!

That seems to be the consensus. And since I have kids and a mixed flock, SLs for the win!
