Ok...this is our first batch of babies and they are now 10 weeks old. No longer babies right?? I have one inside that momma did not like. I keep putting her in and out with the rest. I have been trying to get her in the crowd. When out loose she always goes off by herself. I think one night I am going to put her in the dog crate and put her in the house with all the rest of the girls for the whole night! She will be safe in the crate...they tend to peck at her. Maybe everyone else will get used to her. What does everyone think? Any suggestions?
Also...some of my girls sleep in the nesting boxes and never lay eggs in certain ones. Daily I clean out all of the hay because these two boxes they sleep in have lots of poop in them!! Thought popped into my head....stop putting hay in them! They can sleep in plain old wooden boxes right??? I think my girls are a little spoiled...but I do love them. Does any one have any girls like that??
