Hi, I'm new to raising chickens. Decided to get some chicks for Easter and raise them for eggs. I am carrying a heavy emotional load right now and thought the chicks would be a good diversion for me. I have four chicks, which I named Queenie (the boss), Goldie, Nada and Tena. They are now almost 3 weeks old. My husband and I are old so our kids are grown up. We have a Boston Terrier named Melody, who has been very good with the chicks, so far; we're watching her closely. I need advice; thank you in advance.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock and/or Melody, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
