This is my last warm-ish day to treat for what I have now confirmed is leg mites. I need to clean out the coop and give it time to dry before it gets to late in the day (52 degrees high / low 30 tonight).
All my nesting boxes are full of my girls laying right now, off course. I really need to move them out and clean coop. Then while it's drying, treat everyone.
Is it ok to move a hen out of her box while she's trying to lay? Or will it cause stress ,and potentially complications her laying? If there's a egg moving through her duct, then I put her back in the run, can that cause a problem for her?
I'm thinking of a scenario when you really have to go to the bathroom, but you hold it in to long and then when you do have a chance to go, you're back up / constipated.
Don't want to over complicate an already stressful situation. Thanks for your help
