I noticed my chicken has mites, I've treated it and most has went away ( with garlic and acv ) but she still has some. I live in a village so it's not that easy to get medicine for chickens. She's incubating eggs and I calculate that they will hatch soon. So my question is, is it safe to powder with her with lime and nest to help get rid of poultry mites ?? I would really appreciate advice. Thanks

No, lime should not be used to treat mites on a chicken. Lime is caustic or irritating to skin. Sulfur powder can be used. Permethrin garden dust or spray are very good. Ivermectin works against mites.
