Is my chicken a male or female?

So he/she is a rhode island red. Aged 4 months.

99.9% that that's a hen I have a New Hampshire red and she looks a lot like that she where a roo she would have different colors and longer comb and waddles also she would have longer tail feathers

If the tail feathers grow more she might be a roo

young cockerel..If you will look at the pointed hackle feathers and the saddle of this rooster a pullet will never have those.

I'm a newbie so I'm still trying out my "recognition abilities". I think you have a hen. But from what the others were saying above, I think I need a lot more learning to do.

She might seem like a hen. But on the tail towards the end you know how males have those shiny feathers thats what she has.

You see i really want a rooster. Sounds strange but i love roos. So cute. So hoping he is a boy. Let me see if i have some more pics to help. Suppose the only way to know for sure if he crows or lays an egg haha either way its okay.

Also she or he is 4 mnths and already bigger than her sister. Which makes me seem hes a boy also shaking his head like that in one if the pics. Pretty sure boys do that.
