Is she egg bound?

My EE who is now almost 8 months old has not started to lay yet. She has not really squatted like two other hens that have been laying for weeks. I have been sitting in the coop a few times when i see that the two are in the box, about to lay an egg, and the EE has gotten in a nest box next to the other who is laying. But then she hops back off.
I believe that she should have been laying by now because I have a young rooster who has mounted her a few times. And he has mounted two other hens, and after he did that they started laying.
This chicken is so big, bigger than the rest, and bigger than other EEs that I have seen. We call her T-REX.
And I want some green eggs?!

Maybe she is just developing more slowly than the others. If she were eggbound then she would act like she was uncomfortable and probably be struggling to lay an egg.

We had a similar experience. We have 3 EE's and one was absolutely gigantic compared to the other two, and she started laying very last, but was worth the wait because she has layed nice large eggs 6 days a week since she started! She was almost 2 months behind the others.
